The Minister of Higher Education officially opened new classrooms and labs in the colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy during his visit to the University of Karbala. He emphasizes the need of fulfilling the conditions necessary to create a supportive academic environment.

In the presence of the Holy Governor of Karbala, Mr. Nessie Jassem Al-Khattab, the Minister of Higher Education visited the colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy, opening up modern specialized laboratories, classrooms, and a number of service buildings. He was accompanied by a number of governorate deputies and the President of the University, Dr. Bassem Khalil Al-Said.

He also inaugurated dental clinics, equipped with modern technology to offer treatment services and train students in the clinical diagnosis.

Moreover, when the Minister inaugurated the College of Physical Education and Sports Science’s stadium, he reaffirmed his commitment to moving forward with fulfilling the requirements for developing the university environment through the implementation of academic projects. He aims at supporting the scientific research climates that serve the teaching staffs and researchers and offer scientific opportunities for students training.

His also pointed out that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is eager to strengthen the role of universities and research centers in academic and scientific communication with its counterparts from other countries to take advantage of their experiences and specialized recommendations so as to overcome development-related challenges.

Finally, during his visit to the University of Kerbala, the Minister of Education, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, spoke with students, auditors, and staff members of the university’s colleges and directed to provide all possible solutions that facilitate citizens’ demands.
