The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala, in cooperation with the College of Medicine and Imam Hussein Hospital (peace be upon him), organized an awareness seminar on breast cancer and ways to diagnose it, in the presence of a number of college teachers and employees.

The educational symposium addressed the definition of breast cancer, its most important symptoms, methods of diagnosis and treatment, in addition to identifying the most important factors that help increase the incidence of infection, such as family history.

The participants praised the efforts made by the college and lecturers to raise awareness of the seriousness of this disease, and to educate the women’s community about the necessity of following recommendations that contribute to detecting the infection early.
