The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala discussed a doctoral dissertation entitled (Nour al-Tawfiq and Kashf al-Ratqiq by Mulla Mohsen bin Muhammad Tahir al-Qazwini (1150 AH) from the introductions to interpretation to the end of verse (34) of Surat al-Baqarah – an investigation study) submitted by the student Mazen Hamoud Matrud.

The importance of the study stems from the status of the Mighty Book of God, its sciences and its interpretation. Because it is the most honorable of sciences, the highest in status, and the most worthy of care and preference.

The study aimed to contribute to highlighting the efforts of past scholars in interpreting the Holy Qur’an. Let those who follow them stand for their tremendous efforts and work to investigate and highlight our heritage.
