The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala organized a course on terminological controls in Quranic studies.

The course aimed to determine the importance of understanding jurisprudential, fundamentalist, and Quranic terminology accurately and the necessity of taking into account terminological specificity in use.

The course showed that terminology plays a decisive role in understanding interpretive texts (interpretation approaches and others) and legitimacy (jurisprudence and principles).
