The College of Dentistry – University of Kerbala participated in the Fourth International Karbala Conference for Dentistry (KIDC4-2025), which was held at Al-Zahra University (PBUH) for girls on Friday, April 11, 2025, organized and supervised by the Dental Association in the holy province of Karbala.

The conference discussed the latest academic, scientific, and professional developments in dentistry, technological advancements, equipment technology, and medical and laboratory supplies.

The college’s participation included chairing discussion sessions for the research and lectures presented at the conference, as well as conducting a workshop on dental prosthetics and restorative dentistry. The first discussion session was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Muhannad Salah Abdul-Sattar and Lecturer Dr. Raed Razaq Al-Khafaji, while Assistant Professor Dr. Akram Al-Yasari and Lecturer Zaidun Hassan Muhammad chaired the second session.

It is worth noting that the conference was held with the participation of several Iraqi and foreign universities, attended by several prominent governmental, union, and academic figures. It featured a select group of Iraqi and international lecturers who delivered lectures and workshops, in addition to an exhibition associated with the conference that included most of the major companies in the field of dental supplies and equipment.
