The aim of the research is to test three different concentrations of white laboratory mouse weight from aqueous extracts of Allium sativum bulbs and Punica granatum peels in killing Giardia lamblia and Entamoeba histolytica in Balb / c mice. Generally,. The plant extract of pomegranate at a concentration of 2000 and 3000 mg / kg was effective effectively within a period of time shorter than the time required to kill this parasite using 200 mg of the drug Flagyl.
The use of a concentration of 3000 mg / kg of garlic extract and a concentration of 2000 and 3000 mg / kg of pomegranate extract were effective against dysentery amoeba within a period of time less than the time required to kill this parasite by using 200 mg of a Flagyl drug.
The importance of research lies in finding treatment alternatives to the drug Flagyl, due to the side effects caused by the drug Flagyl.
The research relied on a group of modern tuners in analyzing the practical and theoretical side, as well as linking the practical side and its experiment with laboratory animals for its future experience on humans so that the benefit to the country Iraq, the Arab world and the world.
