The College of Dentistry, represented by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayed Hamid Hassan Al-Musawi, participated, at the invitation of the General Secretariat of the Holy Husayni Shrine, in the honoring ceremony for distinguished female students under the slogan (In the footsteps of Aqeela Zainab), which was held on Saturday, corresponding to the eleventh of February, at the Master of Guardians Hall of The General Secretariat of the Holy Husseiniya Shrine.
And in the presence of each of the legal guardian of the Holy Husayni Shrine, His Eminence Sheikh Abd al-Mahdi al-Karbalai, may his shadow last, and the Secretary General of the Holy Husayni Shrine, Mr. Hassan Rashid al-Abaiji
The ceremony was attended by the two assistants to the President of the University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Akram Al-Yasiri, Prof. Dr. Najm Abdul-Hussein, the deans of the faculties and representatives of the Iraqi universities concerned with honoring.
The ceremony opened with verses from the Holy Quran. Followed by reading Surat Al-Fatihah on the souls of the martyrs of Iraq.

Mr. Al-Abaiji gave an awareness lecture, followed by an educational lecture by the religious leader, His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, in which he explained that religion does not conflict with the role of educated women in our time.
He also emphasized coordination and cooperation between scientific and religious institutions.
The ceremony included a documentary about the activities of the distinguished students
At the end of the ceremony, the scientific and administrative assistants and the deans of the faculties were honored
Distinguished female students of our university were also honored
