The President of the University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Bassem Khalil Nayel Al-Saidi, received the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Water Resources, Mr. Taha Daraa, accompanied by a ministerial delegation that included the Director of Water Resources and the Director of Irrigation Maintenance. The completed projects implemented by the university as well as the projects in progress were seen on the field.
During the field tour, which was accompanied by the scientific assistant, Prof. Dr. Najm Abdel-Hussein, and the director of the Engineering Projects Department, Prof. Dr. Ayman Al-Saadi, the ministerial delegation praised the achievements and urban projects at the university and their importance in achieving the requirements of a sustainable university environment, which was significantly reflected in the development of the university. Proposals and solutions to address some problems with regard to dealing with the water problem and its delivery to the university city, as well as supporting the university in general in cooperation with the concerned departments.
