The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, discussed with the Governor of Kirkuk, Mr. Rakan Saeed Al-Jubouri, tracks of support for university institutions and their strategic projects in the province.
During the meeting, which took place in the presence of a number of its personalities and the President of the University of Kirkuk, Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, the Minister of Education stressed the importance of institutional integration between the university and the governorate and achieving the highest level of response to the requirements of sustainable development.
During the joint press conference, he urged more effective contribution to providing climates responsible for community service, meeting the necessary needs in the areas of specialized academic services, and providing consultations that would improve the level of public services in Kirkuk Governorate.
For his part, Mr. Kirkuk Governorate welcomed the visit of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to the province and appreciated his follow-up to its university and projects and to stand on academic performance indicators and levels of direct engagement in the provision of educational services.
