The College of Nursing at Karbala University organized a scientific symposium entitled “High blood pressure during pregnancy” with the participation of a number of researchers and specialists.
The symposium aims to spread health awareness, preserve the health of the pregnant woman and the fetus during pregnancy, and reduce or reduce infection and mortality rates.
The symposium included the definition of high blood pressure during pregnancy, its types, what are the risk factors and causes that lead to its occurrence, the methods that should be followed to prevent high blood pressure during pregnancy, in order to avoid harm to the pregnant woman and the fetus, and appropriate treatment methods for home care.
The target group of the symposium is students of the Mother and Newborn Branch in the College of Nursing and a number of the college’s employees.
