The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Karbala organized the “Student Projects Exhibition” in its thirteenth edition, with a wide participation of college students in various academic levels.
The exhibition, inaugurated by the Governor of Karbala, Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, the President of the University, Dr. Bassem Khalil Nayel Al-Saeedi, and the Assistant to the Administrative President of the University, Prof. Dr. Akram Mohsen Al-Yasiri, included a presentation of the projects and activities of the college students for the completed and unfinished stages.
The number of projects and activities presented by students of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology exceeded more than 30 projects that dealt with various problems in the sectors of agriculture, health, transportation, information exchange, electronic payment, and others.
For its part, Karbala Governorate has taken the initiative to adopt some projects that would facilitate work within different sectors in the governorate.
The exhibition also witnessed the participation of some college branches at the University of Karbala, as well as the participation of a number of private colleges in the province.
The “Student Projects and Activities” exhibition, which is held annually by the University of Karbala, provides an opportunity for those in charge of the province to adopt some of the projects completed by students that provide solutions to some of the problems facing the city, or to find solutions that contribute to facilitating business within various sectors within state institutions.
