The College of Dentistry at Karbala University organized a workshop on domestic violence and its repercussions on society and its most important risks, with the participation of college students.
The symposium included defining the dangerous effects and repercussions of violence on the family and society, given that the family is the nucleus of society, and defining the concept of domestic violence and its types, the psychological, physical, financial and pathological effects it leaves on the victims.
The symposium also dealt with the causes of domestic violence, how to treat it and save the victims from the crises they were exposed to, and the foundations and systems that the family should adopt to build a family characterized by culture, knowledge and good dealings with others.
