Washington: A new study finds that young men who often play violent video games experience a change in the way their brains work.

And the American “Health Day News” website stated that researchers at the University of “Indiana” found, through the use of magnetic imaging, changes in the reactions of the brains after exposure to video games, and what is more, that these changes remain for a week.

Yang Wang, the researcher in charge of the study, said, “We found that brain function changed as a result of violent video games. We found that the activity of the brain region responsible for regulating emotions decreased after playing these games.”

He added that he did not yet know what these changes meant, but that they affected the brain in some way.

Tracy Dennis, a professor of psychology at Hunter University in New York, said that this study is “a good first step … it shows that if you do something over and over for a period of time, it will affect the brain, but it is still not clear what this means.” in real life.”
