New research has found that the brains of men and women analyze the seen scene differently, while men attach more importance to minute details and moving objects, women are better able to distinguish colors.

The study authors, researchers from New York University, conducted their tests on volunteers over the age of 16, all of whom had normal color vision and 20/20 visual acuity, either normal or corrected.

When the participants looked at the colors of the spectrum, the researchers noted that the men took slightly longer to identify the hue than the women, and that they had more trouble distinguishing between colors in the center of the spectrum.

On the other hand, the researchers noted that men were better able to absorb the content of the rapidly changing images.

The main author of the study says: “As is the case with other senses, such as hearing and smell, there are clear differences between the sexes in the sense of vision.
