Karbala Engineering organizes a course on the manufacture of prostheses

The Department of Engineering Prosthetic Limbs and Supports at the College of Engineering at Karbala University organized a course on the use of composite materials in the manufacture of prostheses.
The course aimed to develop the skills of students, engineers and professors in the field of advanced composite materials in the manufacture of prosthetics.
The course, which lasted for 3 days, included introducing the participants to the use of composite materials in the manufacture of prostheses due to their high mechanical properties and light weight, in addition to their low cost.
The session witnessed the presentation of practical applications on the use of composite materials in the manufacture of prostheses.
