Scientists confirm that proper nutrition is the best solution to get rid of nervous stress, as some foods contain certain vitamins and minerals that strengthen the nerves, increase the secretion of the happiness hormone, and strengthen the immune system in the body.
The German “RTL” website reviewed some foods that perform this function and can fight daily stress, which are:
• Eggs: Egg yolks not only contain vitamin C, but are also rich in vitamin B12, which contributes to building blood cells and affects the strength of nerve cells, thus reducing the effects of stress.
• Broccoli: Broccoli contains potassium, which contributes to strengthening nerve cells.
• Dairy products: Low calcium in the body leads to rapid nervous reactions even to the simplest things, which can be eliminated by eating calcium-rich products such as milk, cheese and yogurt.
• Bananas: Bananas also contain a large percentage of potassium, which transmits information between cells, especially nerve cells, and thus reduces concentration problems. Other potassium-rich items include nuts and avocados.
