The teacher at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Hussein Hassoun Abbas, was chosen as a member of the Committee for the Development and Modernization of Curricula for Scientific Specialization in the Colleges of Physical Education.
Abbas said: “He was chosen as a member of one of the committees for developing and modernizing the curricula in the faculties of physical education within the committee specializing in weights, along with four professors from the universities of Baghdad, Diyala, Kirkuk and Maysan.”
He explained that the scientific committees consist of (11) committees with different specializations, which are the committee for sports training, physical fitness, anatomy, physical injuries, motor learning, weights, artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, athletics, volleyball, biomechanics, sports physiology, scientific research, testing, measurement and statistics.
