A master’s thesis in the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala discussed the application of cloud manufacturing using re-engineering of production processes, (a case study in the Al-Furat General Company for Chemical Industries, the soda and chlorine production plant).
The study aimed to apply cloud manufacturing using production process re-engineering.
The study reached a set of results, the most important of which is the availability of the most important requirements for cloud manufacturing, which enables the application of cloud manufacturing using the re-engineering of production processes in the factory.
The study recommended the application of cloud manufacturing within the framework of the proposed work, and also that the application of cloud manufacturing in the factory needs collaborative efforts between the engineering staff, information and communication technology, and management.
