For whatever reason, the mother’s oral germs may pass into the baby’s mouth. One of the most common of these diseases is the transmission of germs through the shared spoon between the mother and the child. Likewise, kissing the lips of the child by the mother can lead to the transmission of new germs through the mother’s mouth to the child’s mouth. Some mothers even put the spoon in their mouths when feeding their babies and they think that their oral germs are the same as their babies, which is completely wrong.
