The College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala organized a workshop on genetically modified foods, with the participation of teachers and employees from inside and outside the college.
The workshop, in which Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein Makki Al-Mamouri lectured, dealt with the damage and spread of genetically modified foods on human health, such as cancerous diseases and hypersensitivity. and infertility. And antibiotic resistance, and the lecturer touched on special methods of genetic modification that may be safe to prevent the occurrence of these diseases.
The workshop aimed to introduce the danger of genetically modified foods to human and animal health.
