  1. Complete examination of the patient and removal of any possible systemic disease.
  2. Medications used in moderate cases are local anesthetics, and products containing benzocaine.
  3. Medications used in severe cases are topical steroids or rinses with tetracycline.
  4. In severely painful cases, we can inject corticosteroids into the ulcer.
  5. Chemical cauterization with silver nitrate sticks or liquid substance thereof
