The heart[1][2](in English: Heart) is a muscular organ in humans and other animals that pumps blood through the blood vessels of the circulatory system.[3] Blood supplies the body with oxygen and nutrients, and also helps remove waste products from metabolism.[4] In humans, the heart is located between the lungs, in the middle chamber of the chest.
