Endodontic treatment

Endodontic treatment, root canal treatment, or nerve treatment is a series of treatment of the infected pulp of the tooth, leading to removal of the infection and protecting the disinfected tooth from reinfection.[1] The root canal of the tooth and the pulpal chamber is a physical cavity within the tooth that is naturally inhabited by the nervous tissue, blood vessels, and other cells that together make up the pulp of the tooth.[2] Endodontic treatment involves removing these components and then shaping the canal, cleaning and disinfecting the cavities (to prevent germs from entering them and to prevent remaining germs from continuing to grow (complete cleaning of the canal from germs is impossible)) with small volumes of dental file and also with irrigation solutions, after which they are sealed (Filling) The canal cleared by an inert filler such as guttapercha and eugenol-based mortar. Resin[3] epoxy is used to bind gutters in some root canal procedures.[4]
