Prosthodontics using the two-stage procedure
This method requires two surgeries:

The first surgical procedure: the body of the dental prosthesis (Fixture) is inserted into the bone and is completely covered with a cover of mucous membrane (which was previously implanted), meaning that the dental prosthesis in the first stage is buried under the soft tissues.
Second surgery: At this stage, the Cover screw that was fixed in the first stage to the fixture is removed and covered with a plate by removing a cover plate, inserting a Healing abutment, and sewing the cover around the Healing abutment.
One of the benefits of this method is that the bone restoration process takes place without applying any force to the prosthodontic body until the restoration is complete.
