A master’s thesis at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala discussed the molecular characterization of Staphylococcus aureus isolated from milk and its derivatives in Karbala Governorate. The study aimed to investigate Staphylococcus aureus bacteria in milk and its local and imported derivatives using traditional and modern methods, in addition to examining sensitivity to antibiotics. The study showed higher rates of contamination with these bacteria in milk and its derivatives manufactured locally than imported because of the use of primitive methods in handling and preserving these products.
