The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala organized a scientific symposium that addressed the ideal geometric design of the Islamic hijab, with the participation of a number of college employees.

The symposium included three axes, the first specialized in the scientific field and engineering design, while the second dealt with the artistic aspect such as drawing and sculpture, and the third axis focused on addressing the issue of the hijab in scientific ways.

The symposium aimed to shed light on the importance of the hijab for women, and modesty for men from the perspective of science, especially since the hijab prevents people from committing prohibited acts and maintains stable and balanced human behavior.

The symposium stressed the need for the Islamic hijab to carry out the task of controlling or reducing the activation of the feeling of natural attraction between both sexes for each other by neutralizing most of the psychological influences.
