The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala witnessed the discussion of a master’s thesis that dealt with the evaluation of some inflammatory factors in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome with insulin resistance.

The study aims to evaluate the level of inflammatory factors (HS-CRP, IL-6) in patients with polycystic ovary cysts and insulin resistance and compare them with a healthy group.

The study showed the lipid levels in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome and insulin resistance and compared them with a healthy group, as well as examining the relationship between vital indicators.

The study recommended the importance of performing lipid level measurements for women with polycystic ovary syndrome and insulin resistance from time to time, as well as the necessity of conducting continuous tests for inflammatory factors, especially in patients over 30 years of age.
