The Colleges of Islamic Sciences and Engineering at the University of Karbala participated in the Qur’anic ensemble competition held by the College of Education at the University of Maysan.
Professor Dr. Hamid Al-Gharabi, head of the Qur’anic Sciences Unit, said that the goal of holding the competition lies in discovering promising Qur’anic energies and working to develop them, as well as activating the Qur’anic movement in Iraqi universities and cultivating the spirit of competition, altruism and creativity.
The team from the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala won third place out of 12 participating universities.
