The College of Education for Humanities at the University of Karbala hosted the discussion of a doctoral thesis in the Department of Arabic Language entitled (The two ladies, Al-Zahra and her daughter Zainab, peace be upon them, in modern Iraqi poetry from (1650 AD – 2020 AD, “An Analytical Study”).
The importance of the study is evident in highlighting some of the obscure Iraqi poets and explaining their poetic, intellectual and ideological productions, as well as explaining their artistic style with which they wove the Fatimid and Zainabiya poems and how they used ideas to explain the oppression of the two women (peace be upon them).
The study aims to shed light on the poetry journey of the two women, especially since there is an important role for these poems among Iraqi poets in the modern era during the period of approximately seventy years.
One of the most important findings of the study is that Arab women in the Islamic era played an influential role in society, as among the most prominent influences on it were the Prophet’s daughter, his wife Fatima, and his granddaughter Zainab (peace be upon them), who completed her mother’s path and traced her influence in clarifying the ambiguities of the message, people’s questions, and championing the religion of Islam. And Muslims.
