Under the patronage of the Honorable Dean of the College of Dentistry, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhannad Salah Abdel Sattar, the Student Activities Division at the College of Dentistry / University of Karbala organized a field visit to the Charitable Cooperation Foundation in the Holy Governorate of Karbala. The college delegation consisted of the Student Activities Division official, Assistant Lecturer Barakat Muhammad Ali. Zaini and the teaching assistant in the dental industry branch, Russel Natiq Turki, in addition to a group of fourth-year female students at the college.
The field visit included conducting clinical medical examinations in the field of oral and dental medicine for a group of needy families in the governorate, along with providing therapeutic and advisory services to them. The visit included providing medical services to twenty-five Karbalai families who are within the Charitable Cooperation Foundation.
This field visit comes with the aim of creating a spirit of cooperation and humanitarian solidarity and focusing the attention of male and female students towards humanitarian charitable work and supporting groups in financial need. This greatly eases the burden of the Karbalai citizen and is an important step towards reducing the financial burden on families with limited income, and at the same time the college, its students and its staff work. Teaching on spreading health culture in the field of oral and dental medicine for the community among Karbala families.
