The Council of the College of Dentistry / University of Karbala held its fourth session for the current academic year on Thursday, 11/30/2023, headed by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raouf Rashid Al-Touma, and in the presence of the Dean’s Assistants and all members of the Council who are heads of the scientific branches of the College.
The meeting included discussing many important matters, including: activating the electronic attendance of students according to the directives of the presidency of the University of Karbala, and following up on safety procedures in the college buildings, including preparing fire extinguishers, as well as creating a joint point for civil defense guards with the rest of the colleges at the University of Karbala – Al-Mutafif District Complex.
The meeting also included honoring Assistant Professor Dr. Muhannad Salah Abdel Sattar with a letter of thanks and appreciation along with a college shield in appreciation of the great efforts he made in managing the College of Dentistry over the past period, wishing him more success in his medical and scientific career. Assistant Professor Dr. Raouf Rashid Al Toama was also welcomed as its chair. His first session as Dean of the College, asking God to help him in his work tasks and guide his steps in completing the distinguished scientific journey of the College of Dentistry.
