The Governor of Holy Karbala, Eng. Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, honored the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Raouf Rashid Al Tohme, on the occasion of his assuming the duties of the Deanship of the College. The honoring ceremonies took place in the University Presidency building in the presence of the President of the University, Professor Bassem Khalil Nayel Al-Saeedi, and a number of the deans of the colleges, where he presented Mr. Governor of Karbala, congratulations and congratulations to the new deans at the University of Karbala on the occasion of assuming the duties of managing their colleges, wishing them continued success and progress in order to advance the scientific reality of the university. Mr. Governor also stressed that the University of Karbala is a scientific edifice that was and still is fully connected with the state’s service institutions, especially what is constituted by the college. Dentistry is of great importance to provide health institutions in Karbala with qualified medical staff of dentists.
