A meeting was held between the deans of Iraqi dental faculties and the deans of Arab dental faculties, in the presence of representatives from Arab countries such as the UAE, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Egypt and Syria, as well as the presence of representatives from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences yesterday, Friday 12-08-2023, on the sidelines of the conference. The United National International College of Dentistry, where the guest of honor at this conference was the occupied State of Palestine.
The conference was opened under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Yasser Al-Aboudi, and under the direct supervision of the Committee of Deans of Public and Private Dental Colleges in Iraq, in the Beit Akito Hall in the Celebration Square in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, where the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, confirmed the interest of the educational institution. The attendees expressed their confidence that the Iraqi universities and their specialized colleges will enhance their results achieved in the international classifications, stressing that this conference aims to enhance cooperation and scientific research between universities and scientific institutions, as well as strengthening the international partnership between Iraqi and Arab universities in the field of dentistry, hoping that the conference will contribute to the development of the dental sector.
