A thesis at the College of Management and Economics at the University of Karbala discussed the impact of social undermining on contextual performance: the interactive role of social capital.

The study presented by the student Samoud Abdel Ghafour Al-Rubaie aimed to reduce the level of the impact of social undermining on contextual performance through the interactive role of social capital at the college level of the University of Karbala.
The study concluded that when individuals are exposed to being undermined by a colleague or supervisor, this limits their level of performance, mainly performance that exceeds the limits of official tasks.
The thesis recommended that colleges take into consideration all the phenomena that spread within them, whether they are positive for the benefit of the work and the organization or negative that affect their performance and hinder the achievement of their goals.
