The College of Law at the University of Karbala organized a scientific symposium on the forgery of academic documents and its relationship to financial and administrative corruption crimes, with the participation of undergraduate and graduate students at the college on the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day and the launch of the annual Integrity Week.
The symposium, in which the two teachers at the College of Law, Professor Adel Kazem Saud and Professor Iyad Jaafar Al-Asadi, lectured, included two topics. The first dealt with the definition of forgery crimes that occur in academic certificates, while the second topic presented the reasons that push people to commit these crimes.
The symposium recommended that academic certificates obtained from abroad should be subject to scrutiny and review.
