The College of Medicine at the University of Karbala organized a scientific awareness symposium on combating drugs with the participation of a group of students, employees and interested parties.
The symposium, in which Professor Dr. Ali Tariq Abdel Hussein lectured, introduced participants to ways to confront the scourge of drugs and combat its spread among members of society.
The topics of the symposium focused on introducing participants to the phenomenon of addiction and the theories explaining it, explaining the reasons for the spread of the drug phenomenon and the role of health and psychological education in preventing it, in addition to explaining ways to address the phenomenon of drug abuse.
