A master’s thesis at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Karbala discussed the spatial analysis of liquefied gas filling and marketing in Karbala Governorate.

The study, presented by student Raghda Saad Fadous, aimed to identify the nature of liquefied gas used in filling cylinders, how to market it, and its economic importance.
The study concluded that liquefied gas filling plants in Karbala Governorate witnessed many developments, and that the establishment of the first gas filling plant in Karbala was during the 1980s, as gas distribution was limited to the gas distribution office in the Sayed Judah area. Also, the opening of the Karbala strategic refinery in 2023 will create Major changes in the field of petroleum products industry, including liquefied gas.
