A thesis at the College of Management and Economics at the University of Karbala discussed the Bayesian estimation of spherical distribution parameters under different loss functions with application.

The study, which was presented by student Marwa Haider, aimed to estimate the parameters of the Spherical-Dirichlet Distribution using the Bayesian estimation method under different loss functions.
The thesis concluded that there is a very high positive relationship between the probability of developing myopia in simulation experiments and the estimated probability of developing the disease after estimating it from real measurements.
The study recommended the use of other types of loss functions in the Bayesian estimation of the Dirichlet spherical distribution.
