The Assistant President of the University of Karbala for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Najm Abdul Hussein Al-Janabi, received a delegation from the International Academy for Leadership and Development (IALD) in Istanbul, to discuss the university’s mechanism for hosting scientific debates in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Dr. Najm Al-Janabi stated that the meeting touched on the possibility of hosting the University of Karbala for university debates that will be held among students within the geographical area of the university.
He stated that the University of Karbala will nominate four of its students, two arbitrators, and a supervisor from its professors to supervise the debates that it is hoped will be organized in the coming days.
Al-Janabi explained that the goal of organizing university debates is to create future youth leaders who are able to contribute effectively to serving and developing society.
The International Academy for Leadership and Development (IALD) is one of the educational institutes in Istanbul, providing scholarships, consultations and educational services to students, in addition to sponsoring development programs and youth initiatives.
