A master’s thesis at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Karbala examined spatial changes in land use in the city of Musayyib using remote sensing.
The study, presented by student Zahraa Razzaq Radi, aims to survey the types of land uses in the study area and show their quantitative and qualitative characteristics using applications of remote sensing techniques.
The study demonstrated the effectiveness and ability of remote sensing in studying land use types in the city of Musayyib.
The study recommended the importance of relying on remote sensing techniques in geographical studies in various fields, especially estimates of land use types. It gives fast and accurate results.
