The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, chaired a meeting of the ministerial team specializing in implementing the national anti-corruption strategy and urged strengthening preventive follow-up and a complete shift to automating procedures in all ministry departments.
He stressed during the meeting held in the Legal Department that climates of academic awareness in educational institutions contribute positively to identifying risks and diagnosing phenomena that have a direct and indirect impact on the phenomenon of corruption, which requires setting the necessary preventive barriers to prevent its indicators and repercussions.
He praised the work of the ministerial team to implement the national anti-corruption strategy and fulfill the requirements in coordination with the Federal Integrity Commission, noting that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is working in accordance with the priorities of the government program, which is at the forefront of the anti-corruption path.
The ministerial team reviewed the national strategy implementation program, the overall percentage of achievements achieved, and the preventive measures adopted by departments through electronic systems that citizens deal with directly.
