A master’s thesis at the College of Law at the University of Karbala discussed the crime of non-disclosure in the stock market, submitted by student Yasser Hussein Abd Ali.
The study aimed to clarify the importance of the stock market and the cash liquidity it provides to companies operating within the country, thus increasing national production.
The study found that the Iraqi Securities Market Law is weak in terms of its formulation, and that its phrases are characterized by ambiguity, lack of clarity, and lack of accuracy in wording.
