A master’s thesis at the College of Law at the University of Karbala discussed the criminal protection of Husseini rituals, submitted by the student Hamza Hassan Amin.
The study aimed to clarify the Iraqi legislator’s approach to providing the means to protect the Husseini rituals. Because it represents a firm belief among members of society over the years.
The study concluded that Hussein rituals are among the basic rights and freedoms that enjoy constitutional legal protection.
The study recommended the importance of the Iraqi legislator calling for special legislation called (the law for the protection of Husseini rituals).
