Research at the College of Medicine at the University of Karbala discussed the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of patients with type 2 diabetes regarding non-pharmacological treatments.
The study, presented by student Shatha Nehme, aimed to evaluate the level of diabetes patients’ knowledge about the disease and their practice, to identify weak points and work to strengthen them.
The study found a low level of information about the disease. The study also showed that the level of information about the disease is better among males with university education and employees with a higher standard of living.
