The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala organized the Festival of the Walid of the Kaaba and the Translator of the Qur’an in commemoration of the birth anniversary of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him.
The festival highlighted the personality of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, to contribute to strengthening religious culture amid the rapid development the world is witnessing in various directions and the influx of cultures.
The festival included speeches that emphasized the necessity of consolidating the human values that the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, was able to reflect in their best forms, and urged students to spread them and work by them.
