Read more about the article The President of the University of Karbala opens the first part of the English Department buildingThe President of the University of Karbala, Dr. Basem Khalil Nayel Al-Saidi, opened the first floor of the new English Department building  affiliated with the College of Education for Human Sciences after the completion of work on it.The opening was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Akram Al-Yasiri, the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Najm Abdul Hussein, the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, and a group of professors and students of the department.The opening of the first part of the new building came in response to the continuous increase in the number of students, as it included a number of study halls, professors’ rooms, and supporting facilities.The new building contains classrooms and rooms for teachers, distributed over three floors, and work is underway to complete the second and third floors of the building to accommodate the number of students.For their part, the students of the English Department participated in organizing a drawing exhibition that included a group of artistic paintings that embodied the students’ talents and skills in expressing their ideas in an artistic style.
