A study at the College of Management and Economics at the University of Karbala discussed the impact of comprehensive quality management in improving municipal effort services – a field study of the opinions of a sample of workers in the municipal departments of the Najaf Governorate while providing services to the visitors of Imam Hussein and Imam Ali (peace be upon them) during the fortieth visit and the martyrdom of the Messenger (may God bless him and grant him peace). The study presented by the student Uday Hatem aimed to determine the extent of the impact of comprehensive quality management in its dimensions (conviction and support of senior management, decision-making based on information, focus on customers, continuous improvement, employee participation and motivation) in improving the services of the municipal effort, with its human and automated components, as it is one of the services. The study concluded that the total quality management variable enjoys high importance among the sample members, which reflects the role it plays in improving the services provided to citizens.
The study recommended the need to pay attention to the human element as it is the basic pillar of the quality of municipal effort services.
