A lecturer at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala, Bashir Muhammad Hussein, obtained a patent from the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control for a system for transmitting information encoded by wavelength.
The patent included the operating principle of the system, the electronic equipment of the system, the method of operation and measurement, the results obtained from the system, features, and applications.
The patent is used to provide a system for transmitting information encoded by the wavelength of light transmitted in an optical fiber.
The patent aims to create an electro-optical system for communicating with optical fibers to send and receive information based on an innovative method that relies on including data at the wavelength of light, which differs from traditional methods.
