The College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala hosted the regular meeting of the Committee of Deans of Dental Faculties in Iraq yesterday, Monday, February 12, 2024. The meeting was attended by the deans of governmental and private dental colleges in the Middle Euphrates region.
The meeting included a discussion of the mechanism and date of the trial exam for dental students in the fourth and fifth stages and for all dental colleges in Iraq, which is scheduled to be held before the ministerial exam. It was also agreed upon on the mechanism and date of the joint exam for dental students in the first and second stages with faculties twinned with the College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala.
It is worth noting that the Committee of Deans of Dental Colleges in Iraq aims to take the necessary decisions to enhance joint cooperation and exchange of experiences between dental colleges in Iraq and open the horizons of international partnerships with universities to achieve future aspirations to improve the level of medical education and scientific research in the field of dentistry, and focus on providing An appropriate and stimulating study environment for students, with the need to provide the necessary support to faculty members.
