The College of Law at the University of Karbala organized a scientific symposium on the electronic document in the presence of a number of professors, employees and students of the college.
The symposium aimed to clarify the method through which the corresponding obligations between the parties to the legal relationship are fulfilled using modern means represented by the electronic aspect within the framework of the Electronic Signature and Electronic Transactions Law No. 78 of 2012.
The symposium concluded that all documents that fall within the electronic aspect are documents with legal authority if they are represented in an original and secure manner.
The symposium recommended the need to work on developing the infrastructure and institutions in terms of providing an appropriate electronic environment. To activate the electronic documents system more effectively as legal documents and evidence that contribute to resolving the dispute and fulfilling rights.
